Managing Director
Kris Wang is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience and proven leadership in investment management, structured credit, derivatives, and regulatory governance. As Managing Director of EBC Asset Management Pty Ltd, he drives the firm’s strategic vision and multi-strategy mandates for institutional and high-net-worth investors globally.
His background spans global markets in Asia-Pacific and Europe, where he led institutional trading desks and developed structured investment strategies. Kris holds dual Master’s degrees in Finance and Quantitative Finance (Distinction) from the University of Sydney and is RG146 certified in managed investments, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
Jonathan Liu
Director, Private Equity
Jonathan Liu has over 20 years of experience in Australian private credit, real estate investment, and wealth management. His expertise spans commercial lending, credit structuring, and portfolio-level risk management for high-net-worth and institutional clients.
He has held senior roles across credit advisory and financial services firms, leading the origination and management of large-scale private credit portfolios exceeding AUD 200 million. At EBC, Jonathan oversees the firm’s real estate equity strategies, serving as an Investment Committee member responsible for asset sourcing, deal structuring, and portfolio-level risk oversight across EBC’s investment platform.
Kevin Fang
Legal Counsel & Responsible Manager
Kevin Fang is a registered solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, with over 10 years of experience in legal and financial services. As Responsible Manager at EBC Asset Management, he specializes in fund formation, regulatory compliance, and private equity legal advisory.
Kevin has advised ASX-listed companies, fund managers, trustees, and family offices on corporate and fund regulation, and has served as key person and compliance/risk committee member for multiple AFSL entities. He is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially driven legal solutions within the Australian financial services framework.
